08/02/07 - Album Review: Plies - The Real Testament
 Intro On the Intro Plies testifies to what and who he is.. thats really all oh and he does this with a bad flow. One line says if I can`t rap I`ll find something else to do, makes me wonder bout the rest of the Album. Beat: 2/5 Verses: 2/5 Hook: N/A Flow: 2/5 Replay: No 100 Years This track is highly racist as he says "C racka" over and over, even in the hook. I`m black so its not offensive to me but I know its offensive to whoevers white and its just stupid really. Besides that he talks about his homeboys going to jail and the "c rackas" playing dirty games on "niggas" and sending them to jail. You`d think he was alive during slavery. Beat: 2/5 Verses: 3/5 Hook: 1/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: Hell no I Know U Workin This is a cop killa, fuck you snitches, I`mma kill ya bitch ass if you say something bitch track. So I thought the racist remarks were over but he keeps sayin it on here too. Not much substance here to describe. Beat: 2/5 Verses: 2/5 Hook: 1/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: No On My Dick At first when you here the hook you probably just change the track cause it scares you, anyway because I`m reviewer the album I have to listen to the whole song. The lyrics ain`t that bad compared to the other tracks so far, he talks about his money problems in a conscious way instead of just sayin I`m hella rich. "I`m On Meh Dik Dawwwwg I gutta make sutthin happen." Beat: 2/5 Verses: 4/5 Hook: 2/5 (Sounds funny) Flow: 2/5 Replay: Depends on the person 1 Mo' Time Plies talks about how he`s sorry to a girl on here but he wanna fuck the girl one more time. This track starts off with good lyrics but once he gets into how he wanted to fuck one more time it gets very bad. Beat: 3/5 Verses: 3/5 then 1/5 towards the middle and end Hook: 1/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: No I Am The Club This track is just a club song with a poorly made Fruity Loops beat. This isn`t even a good club song.. just avoid it. Beat: 1/5 Verses: 1/5 Hook: 1/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: Skip Runnin My Mamma Crazy This is the first well-produced track and the lyrics are from the heart and spoken sincere, its also the first track where his flow is on point with the beat. On here he talks about how he`s sorry about driving his momma crazy being in the street. Good job Plies. Beat: 4/5 Verses: 5/5 Hook: 2/5 Flow: 3/5 Replay: Yes Shawty ft. T-Pain This the single if you didn`t know. I`m sure you all heard it, its just the girl song. Beat: 3/5 Verses: 1/5 Hook: 4/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: If your a girl Friday This track has a nice beat produced by J.R., not that special but compared to the other beats on this album it stands out. On here Plies just talks about what he does.. I`m assuming on Friday. This is a smoke weed, drink, you can`t stop me song. He also says c racka on here too.. don`t know whats with him and that. Beat: 4/5 Verses: 2/5 Hook: 2/5 Flow: 3/5 Replay: Depends on the person Goons Lurkin This track has a weirdly produced beat but I like it since its different, the hook on here unlike the other ones is actually okay compared to the others which are pretty bad. As for the lyrics.... well he just talks about people lurkin and how bad he`ll fuck you up. This is somethin to just bump for the hook other than that its disposable. Beat: 4/5 Verses: 2/5 Hook: 3/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: When you chillen Kept It Too Real Plies gets back to his rare lyrical shines on here, he talks about his old home boys who turned on his and how much he loved them but in the end they turned on him anyway. If this track had a better beat I`d like it alot more.. but ignore the bad beat and listen to the lyrics, its pretty good. Beat: 2/5 Verses: 4/5 Hook: 2/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: Possibly You feat. Tank Lloyd is that you? Nah thats Tank and Plies on a girl song thats just talkin bout some freaky stuff. Girls look out! He wants too but his mayonaise in ya salad. Just know Plies been watching alot of freaky porn. Beat: 2/5 Verses: 2/5 (Weird shit.. ) Hook (Tank): 2/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: If you and ya girl real freaky Money Straight This is just that ignorant track about his money being good and if he looses it he`ll lay in ya bushes and take it from you. This track has a better beat compared to the other and the hook ain`t as bad as the others but its still bad. This is kinda hard to take serious considering this is his first album. Beat: 3/5 Verses: 2/5 Hook: 2/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: Sure why not Hypnotized feat. Akon Another girl song about fuckin? Yea but see the different between this and the other bad ones is Akon, he produced it very well and who doesn`t like Akon`s voice? No Homo.... Beat: 4/5 Verses: 1/5 Hook (Akon): 5/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: For Akon.. again no homo Murkin Season Oh god yes! The last track I don`t have to listen to this album no more. Besides the fact I can put this album down, this is just a ignant track talkin bout killin season (Cam'ron?) and well.. thats it he just talks about how people get killed and how he gon do it himself oh and of course the "c rackas". Beat: 3/5 Verses: 2/5 Hook: 2/5 Flow: 2/5 Replay: Nope Overall The Real Testement could have been alot better than it is. Plies show that he has the potential to be a good artist. His word play isn`t very good but on tracks like Runnin My Momma Crazy he puts heart into it which is always the best thing too do. Besides a few tracks where he shows that potienial its all bad. He talks about his money, drugs, partying, and killing for the remainder of the album, now thats not always a bad thing (50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Ect.) but the way he delivers it is horribly done. He dosen`t flow on any track at perfect timing so his words are all over the place and his hook work ruins the song completely as well as the beats he`s chosen to use; most of the beats you won`t even relize as they are so monotone and low you only hear his vocals instead of hearing the beat and the vocals. Along with that the guy says alot of racist remarks repeating c racka on many tracks, especially 100 Years, I`m just gonna wait for him to show the world his whip marks that his masta gave him while he was working the pasture. He`s going to sell worst than he would have because white people are not going to wanna be called c racka over and over. Plies had the potential but fed into the hip hop trap. I advise you to download the few songs i said were good and avoid the rest... C RACKA! Score: 2/5 - Below Average Editors Note: Leave ya own views and comments on the review and the album. Y'all should listening to the album, while reading this Album Review, shit so funny.
I read the review and laugh, cause all that shit was true. Whats up with him and the word ******* yo, I swear he says it in almost every track. He ruins the production (beats) on every joint, even thou some of the productions aint that great. I agree with that track "You" that shit is so weird shit and the only track I think is the best is "Runnin My Mamma Crazy" cause he showing emotion and rapping about some real stuff. The new single he has with T.Pain is aight, Just the hook is good to me. Akon track is aight too. Yeah he has potential but I don't see him improving, well see. And what The Fuck is A Plies? Great Blog yo. It always on point.

When I listen to the album it pissed me off. People got at Eminem for saying the N word on a couple track made over 10 years ago. But then they let this racist dude say the same stuff. Lets agree N word the same as C RACKA. And to think I wanted the Album. Luckly I burned it. But I got to say its pretty common in Fl.
