Do you think there will ever be another 50-type or Em-type or Jay-type rapper that is the next BIG thing?

Personally I dont see anyone receiving such fame and success as Eminem (for example) has had. Sales will NEVER go over 5 mil again, unless some crazy bootleg prevention thing. Even if 50, Em and Jay release albums right now, they prolly wont go over 5 mil.. I mean there will never again be another successful mainstream rapper to the point that he can carry the whole Interscope on his back or the whole Def Jam on his back or w.e label..

I honestly think bootlegging and internet has gone to such a crazy level that even if there was a rapper more talented and famous than Eminem or 50 Cent or w.e, he wouldnt sell like they did..

I see new talent coming in, but none of them are marketed as the NEXT BIG THING...theyre all just the next rapper to either A. Not get signed, B. Sign but not release real album or C. Flop badly(Cassidy style(And no I'm not dissin Cassidy))

it's going to take a talented artist and he or she is going to have to be very market savvy to find ways to get people to buy thier albums

easily next sensation could be flo rida i been listening 2 him for a few months since "birthday" and hes got flow and rhymes he could easily be bigger than 1 track, hopefully he is.
