My Review: 50 Cent Concert in Cologne - July 9th 2007

I just got back from Cologne yesterday evening so I was too tired to write a Review.

I was there like 1 ½ hours before the doors openend. I ended up being in like row 6 or 7 and could see really good. But when I got caught taking pics like 3 songs deep into the show I had to go out to give my camera away. When I returned I was staying in the back but I could still see everything really good from there.

The support act sucked, but at least he only performed for like 20 minutes.

The show started with Yayo coming on stage and getting the people hyped up for 50. So when 50 finally came on stage the people went crazy. 50 performed all of his classic songs and also did his 3 newest, Amusement Park, Straight to the Bank and even I get money. At the end of like 2 or 3 songs, they cut the music off and 50 performed the rest a-capella. It seemed like he wanted to prove that he still can do it after the BET Awards. In between Yayo suddenly started looking around on the floor and 50 asked him whats up. Yayo said he lost one of his rings and 50 said whoever finds him can keep it. I dont know if that was some planed skit or if Yayo really lost a ring. 50 and Yayo put on a great performance and interacted really well. You could feel the good chemistry between them. During Window Shopper the sound somehow fucked up and 50 did sound somewhat like Micky Mouse. At one point, 50 started talking about Game, like how Game said „Fuck you 50“. So 50 wanted the people to scream Fuck you 50. He repeated that a couple of times and then he said „Okay, I am not gonna write your next album neither“. During the show, 50 stripped down until he was shirtless and threw his cap and his several T-Shirt into the crowed. All in all, I loved the show, beside the support act. I would go any day again, even so I already saw 50 for the 5th time.

It was hot, but it would have been better if everybody who is on the Song was there.
