Help i got mad viruses

My little brother was web surfing last night and got my my computer infected with crazy virus. Its posing as an antivirus software on my computer but its obvisouly not. Im using McAfee but its not doing a whole lot to get rid of the virus, every time i go to use a program the new anti virus will pop up and says something like (This program is infected, do you want to enable the antivirus?) so i pretty much can't use most of my programs. Can anyone help me with this damn virus?

try alt control and delete and delete the programs on your computer that are viruses

That doesn't work, in fact it wont even let me use my task manager it says it was disabled by admin.

so please any help or any program that will fight this virus will be much appreicated, cause my mcafee can't do anything about it i've been doing scans all morning and it hasn't found anything

if i was you i wouldnt be looking for a quick fix like a new anti virus program. format the comp and start over

^^^yah basically what these two said...^^^

if you don't mind losing all your stuff then I'd say reformat your computer...make sure you have the cds handy to reinstall windows...

if you don't wanna lose all your stuff then I'd say get malewarebytes and Avast antivirus...best antivirus combo in my opinion...

and if neither of those work or you don't know how to reformat your comp call the company you got the comp from or those Geek Squad dudes at Best Buy...

i got the same thing i wanna format my harddrive but i dont have the windows xp disc can i still format my harddrive?

No need to reformat, The exact same thing happened to my neighbor and I had to install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and that solved the problem for him, You use McAfee? If I were you I'd go with Kaspersky but try Malwarebytes most likely that will fix the problem

malwarebytes doesnt run when i try to open it my computer doesnt let it run it only lets me open some programs

Then boot the PC up in safe mode? Do you know how to do that? When in safe mode use the Malware program
