Need help!!!!!

i need help when i try to connect my ipod in the computer usb it wont connect it doesnt show on the computer, ans wen i try to use the memory card slots it does the samething it wont show on the computer..what should i do..much help...

do u got i tunes yet if not download it, ,if so thencheck usb port on bottom right of comp. by where your date and time is right click it wait till opens then right click what sasy massive storage device and see if u can fix or updtae driver....after all that and it dont work go to mininova download the ipod hardware disk for whatever version you have open it when done downloading burn img. or watever kinda file it is to disc and try it that way...if that dont work let me know theres a couple more ways around this

none of them work front or back,neither my memory stick drives or slots..and the computer is not that old like almost a year...
