How do I fix this?

I just formatted my comp so everythings fresh.. but I have one problem.. the screens stretched..

right click>properties>settings doesn't do anything.. it lets me choose between 1024x768 and 800x600

I used to have another one.. i don't remember the size but it was bigger than 1024x768..

any way to fix it?
