Help Please? System error won't allow computer to run

Yesterday morning.. after I took a shower I thought id go on my lap top for a bit before I had to leave.. well it was turned off which I thought was kind of weird since I always leave it on but I didn't think much of it.. I turned it on and the windows boot screen.. I'm not exactly sure what its called but it was loading forever and finally after a while a blue screen came up that said this:

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} the
windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of
0xc0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
The system has been shut down.

Once again .. thought nothing of it and restarted.. the screen that says start windows normally.. safe mode .. last good configuration etc popped up.. I clicked start windows normally - still nothing. I tried all the safe modes .. I tried last good configuration and nothing.

I have home edition if that means anything.

Any ideas? I thought of re installing but I couldn't find the disc for the life of me .. so I downloaded it .. burned it to a cd and the disk won't load?

I know rep doesn't mean much to people and I can't really give you anything but id really really appreciate the help.
