Chinese authorities have put a whole town in quarantine after an outbreak of horrifying pneumonic plague.

Two people have died from the highly contagious disease, an even more powerful brother of The Black Death – the bubonic plague believed to have wiped out a quarter of the population of Europe in the 14th Century.

The World Health Organisation said it was in close contact with Chinese health authorities and that measures taken so far were appropriate.
It looks serious, but the Chinese regime being what it is, they aren’t limited by anything in their choice of means to keep the disease from spreading. People are just worker ants for them.

One of them has now quit the trial: The Diploma-businessman Axel Sch. (40). He claims : “The vaccination has made me ill! – the test is irresponsible.” He says that within a few hours after the vaccination, on August 10, he had sweat on his forehead. “I felt totally beat. On the third day, my kidneys and head were aching and I got a fever. I then had a coughing fit – and the wash basin was suddenly red – it was blood!“

LMU-medical researcher Frank von Sonnenburg, who is in charge of the country-wide study, doesn’t consider these accounts credible. He says that such side-effects cannot be related to the vaccine. He does not deny that, as with other flu-vaccinations, flu-like symptoms may occur as a reaction to the vaccination. “Additionally, there may be light pain, redness or swelling at the ********* site.”

“Obviously many of the test subjects would have side-effects. We do such a study precisely because we want to find out any possible side-effects. If flu cases were to become more severe and we had not done any tests, – there would be a big outcry by everyone.”

Was the vaccine admitted too quickly to the study? The fact is that in this composition, the vaccine has not yet been applied to humans. The Federal Health Minister Ulla Schmidt explained on Wednesday that she had felt put under pressure by the pharmaceutical industry from the beginning. Criticism is being voiced with increasing frequency. The Paul-Ehrlich-Institute points out that side-effects to this vaccine are to be more expected than in connection with a normal flu-vaccine. The Paediatric Association points to a possibly increased number of unknown side-effects.

British researchers even warn about a neurological disorder known as the Guillain-Barré-Syndrome. They point to a vaccination campaign with a similar swine flu vaccine carried out in the USA in 1976, which resulted in the deaths of 25 people.

Probably because of this, the USA only test vaccines without so-called adjuvants. These lead to greater side-effects, explains study leader Frank von Sonnenburg. “The adjuvants produce more anti-bodies, which is why the body’s defensive reaction is also greater.” Kidney pains and bloody cough of the kind Axel Sch. Experienced were however not to be expected, even with this adjuvant. “We conduct a clean study.”

Axel Sch. however insists that his complaints were a result of the vaccination. “Surely it is no coincidence that they occurred directly after the vaccination.” He criticizes the university, saying that he was not properly informed prior to the study. He said that for three days he was flat on his back during this heat. “When I phoned the LMU, they simply asked me the question needed to fill in their form and told me to see my doctor.” He now wants the medical costs and loss of earnings compensated by the medical insurance covering the trial.

Axel Sch. has participated in medical trials even when he was a student. He had also had good experiences with an LMU flu-vaccine study. “This is the reason why I immediately consented when they asked me if I would test the new vaccine.”

Now his trust in research is gone, he is quitting the vaccine trial. In October he will fly to Latin America for professional reasons. He had looked forward to traveling unconcerned – by then he would have received the second of three vaccinations. “I’m not fearful just the same – I don’t belong to an at risk group. Also, the swine flu can’t possibly be as bad as the side-effects of the vaccine.”

THE H1N1 vaccine isn't for everyone.

Since the mass immunization began in Winnipeg Monday, two people have had rare allergic reactions to it, according to the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

"We have had two incidents involving some allergic-type symptoms," said Dr. Sande Harlos, a WRHA medical officer of health. "This is what we're prepared to deal with."

The maker of the H1N1 vaccine, GlaxoSmithKline, warns that up to one in 1,000 doses may result in an allergic reaction leading to a "dangerous decrease of blood pressure."

"That's why you're asked to wait 15 minutes afterwards," Harlos said. A severe reaction will happen within minutes of getting the shot.

By 3 p.m. Tuesday, 15,695 Winnipeggers had been immunized without incident. When someone reacts badly to the vaccine, there are medical staff on hand to help, Harlos said.

The vaccine recipient is taken to hospital to be kept under observation. Harlos said the two people who reacted badly to the vaccine -- one on Monday and one on Tuesday -- are OK. "They left in good condition."

Meanwhile, Winnipegger Janice Dehod is worried about her allergy to the mercury-based preservative thimerosal used in the vaccine.

"I know if it is in eye drops or contact lens preserver, it will make my the skin around my eyes puff up and swell in a really ugly way," she said. "I am not sure what thimerosal will do in my veins."

Harlos said unless someone has a severe egg or thimerosal allergy, they shouldn't have a severe reaction to the vaccine.

"Some people have a mild reaction when it's used topically. That isn't the same as a systemic whole-body reaction," Harlos said.

A severe allergic reaction is an anaphylactic response -- the throat closes, blood pressure plunges and airways tighten, said Dr. Joel Kettner, Manitoba's chief medical officer of health.

Dehod said she has had an adverse reaction to a flu vaccine in the past, but doesn't know if it contained thimerosal. She wishes Manitoba would obtain vaccine without thimerosal.

"I don't want to be one of those people that falls through the cracks and gets H1N1 because Manitoba Health did a pretty good job for most people and gambled with the health of those that are a little more sensitive to preservative."

Mercury downplayed

Thimerosal is a mercury-based preservative. In large concentrations, or over extended periods of exposure, mercury can cause damage to the brain and kidneys. However, the Public Health Agency of Canada says the amount of mercury in the H1N1 flu vaccine is significantly less than in a can of tuna.

The National Advisory Committee on Immunization has recommended a long-term goal of removing thimerosal from vaccines, provided that safe alternatives to this preservative can be found. "This will help to reduce unnecessary environmental exposure to mercury."

I was wrong about the numbers, 600 000 has been infected with both swineflu and a ordinary virus which gives you cold symptoms. And guess how many has died?

Surprizingly, 109 people. OMG. And guess what more. 14 of them arew caused by Swineflu, the rest because of other deasises.

Yeah their are people everywhere reporting huge death tolls from this, there was a report that 3000 died from it already in the UKraine, and that 39 had died in India from it. We have to discern the information and research the numbers that the MAINSTREAM MEDIA is reporting , because they are FALSE.

Elle souligne toutefois qu'à l'heure actuelle, les transmissions de l'homme aux animaux du virus pandémique H1N1 restent isolées.

Concernant les cas, "peu nombreux", de porcs atteints du H1N1, il y a "peu de preuves" démontrant que l'infection est d'origine humaine, dit l'OMS qui prévient toutefois qu'une telle transmission "devrait devenir plus fréquente".

Pour les autres animaux, l'organisation fait également état de cas de dindes malades au Chili et au Canada ainsi que quelques animaux domestiques aux Etats-Unis.

Buck Scotland was the 1st place in the UK to give out flu shots, they made it mandatory for all schools, hospitals and colleges etc to get the shot. How come Scotland only has a population of 5million but only 30 people have died from swine flu so far?

In late October, officials in Ivano-Frankivsk, a city located in southwestern Ukraine, characterized the outbreak as pneumonic plague. Pneumonic plague is caused by bacterium and is more virulent and less common than bubonic plague

Official Ukranian sources place the number of death at 33 (as of November 5) and the news website ZIK claims a total of 97 deaths. Deutsche Presse-Agentur put the number at 95 and reported on November 5 that 633,877 Ukrainians nationwide have registered with health authorities as suffering from the flu. Doctors in the region, however, dispute this and say thousands have died.

Residents of Kiev claim light aircraft sprayed a mysterious substance on residents of the city, according to Radio Netherlands Worldwide. The spraying was denied by the country’s Office of Emergency Response.

Reports from Ukraine on the mystery illness are contradictory and confusing. “While the mainstream media is reporting that it is a surge in H1N1 influenza, alternative media sources are reporting that it is a new unidentified virus, while other reports cite witnesses in Ukraine who say there is no evidence of a pandemic at all,” Steve Watson wrote for Infowars on November 2.

On November 5, it was reported by the alternative media that a town in China was locked down after 2 people died from an outbreak of pneumonic plague. In August, the Associated Press reported on a deadly outbreak of pneumonic plague in a remote farming town in northwestern China.

It should be emphasized that at this time there is no conclusive evidence that Ukraine is suffering from an outbreak of pneumonic plague. Experts note that if the country was indeed suffering from the illness the death rate would be much higher.

However, it is odd that a preparedness drill in the United States would use the pneumonic plague as its fictional predicate. It is not explained why officials in Lake in the Hills have chosen to avoid basing their drill on the H1N1 virus.

Lake in the Hills has ranked high in Illinois cities taking federal money for “homeland security” initiatives, according to a survey conducted by the Daily Herald.

It is not known if the Department of Homeland Security is involved in the drill to be conducted this weekend

Participants in the Black Death scenario were faced with a fictional, intentional plague attack involving countries from their region, with the exercise designed to assist them in identifying critical co-operation and co-ordination issues which could hinder a quick and successful response to such an attack in real life.

The idea behind this exercise, the third in a series organized by INTERPOL, has been described by the Organization's Secretary General, Ronald K. Noble, as “helping focus our joint understanding of the role and responsibility of each of us – police, health care professionals, experts – in response to a bioterrorism incident, as well as identifying possible gaps or redundancies so that we can draw lessons from them.”

Inter-agency co-operation in Central and Eastern Europe
Organized by the INTERPOL Bioterrorism Unit, this third edition of the event took place from 29-30 September in Warsaw, Poland. A wide range of INTERPOL initiatives
The tabletop exercise is the latest in a series of initiatives launched by INTERPOL since the creation of its Bioterrorism Prevention programme. INTERPOL has worked ceaselessly since 2005 to heighten its member countries’ awareness of the dangers of bioterrorism and to enhance their preparedness for a bioterrorist attack. The Bioterrorism Prevention Programme has co-ordinated a series of events, starting with the Global Conference on Preventing Bioterrorism in March 2005; regional workshops in Africa, South America, Europe and Asia; train-the-trainer sessions all over the world; and practical tabletop exercises such as the one outlined above.

Chancellor Angela Merkel today called for the establishment of a “new global order” in remarks marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Speaking at a scientific conference entitled “Falling Walls”, Merkel brazenly told reporters:

“The most important thing, when attempting to overcome barriers, is: Are the nation states ready and willing to give competencies over to multilateral organizations, no matter what it costs?”

The German leader stated that world unity could only be possible if such “global corrections” were made.

“This world will not be a peaceful one if we do not work for more global order and more multilateral cooperation,” Merkel stated.

In the presence of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Merkel added that Americans would have to deliver over more authority to multilateral organizations such as the UN, just as Europeans have done to the EU.

Merkel pointed to the forthcoming UN climate summit in December, to be held in Copenhagen, as an opportunity to forge such a new order.

The German Chancellor’s speech echoed that of former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, who called for a “new world order” in a December 1988 speech to the United Nations in New York City. Gorbachev was present at the event in Berlin today.

Other world leaders set to join Chancellor Merkel are French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Russian president Dmitry Medvedev and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who is set to make a last-ditch appeal to Merkel to rally behind Tony Blair as the first president of Europe.

President Obama will not travel to Germany, a move that has drawn heated criticism and has been seen by some as an attempt to better relations with Russia.
