i really think he is, coz he has been anti game for years, and i have never seen him comment on anything musically, so he must like 50 just for his muscles, just like Lady Valentine....not like she ever actually paid attention to 50s music, rather than Amusement park.

he aint lying thou, B Fly just Been on Sister 2 Sister Mag
Sherani "B-Fly" Taylor is the younger sister of Compton rapper The Game, a.k.a. Jayceon Taylor. S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown called her after hearing that she was shot during a drive-by in Compton in October. Luckily it was only a flesh wound, and B-Fly doesn't think that the bullet was intended for her. B-Fly talked openly about the day she was shot. It happened outside of her family's studio where she was recording. She also shared details about the widely publicized fight at a family member's funeral when she jumped in to defend The Game after one of their cousins jumped him. Also, she shared warm memories of her and The Game's childhood. When B-Fly went to the hospital after she was shot, her brother The Game was one of the first people to arrive. The situation brought them a little closer, but B-Fly is clearly a sister who's always had love for her big brother. Their mother Lynette tells us that as kids you wouldn't see Jayceon without Sherani close behind. The news that B-Fly had been shot hit Lynette hard. "As a mother my heart goes out to any parent who has had a child shot, or even lost a child to gun violence. It's a phone call that you can't even put into words," Lynette said of the feeling that hits when you hear the news. "And there are no words to describe that feeling at that minute that starts way deep in your stomach and goes through your whole body. And even after I found out she was wounded but would be okay, you just still feel helpless and confused." Read on for B-Fly's take on their family's disagreement at the funeral and why she does not ask her brother to help her launch her rap career. She released a mixtape on her own and continues to record and make her own music industry connections. *** Jamie: For somebody that's supposed to be laid up, honey, it's hard to catch up with you. B-Fly: I'm at the hospital. I had to come for my checkup. Jamie: You're able to walk? Or you're in a wheelchair or what? B-Fly: I just got a little limp right now because I'm in pain, but I can walk. Jamie: What kind of bullet was that? Do they know? B-Fly: 357. Jamie: What?! B-Fly: It's crazy. I'm still feeling like I'm in a dream. Jamie: Tell me exactly what happened. B-Fly: I was at the house. I had the engineer there, the producer there; we were making some beats and we were actually getting ready to record. I had been trying to record these songs for Lydia Harris, for her Married to the Game soundtrack. So I was like, okay, today I'm going to record this. So I finished writing, I was about to record and I went outside for two minutes. And I'll never believe what happened in that two minutes. My life changed. Jamie: Wait a minute. You went outside for— B-Fly: I went outside for a break. Jamie: Just to get some fresh air? B-Fly: Just to get some fresh air. And see, there was people outside; they were talking. It's like our house is in between; it's a duplex in the front where the studio is. And in between there, it's like a little patio area, so there's a table. Like a weight bench. So people were outside from the neighbor's house. They were outside talking. So when I came outside for my break, they were outside, so I was engaged in conversation with them. The next thing I know, I heard a bullet fly. I didn't think it was aimed toward my area. I thought it was very close and from a block away. The next thing you know, they just started firing: boom boom. I started to run. I fell, but I didn't know that I fell because of the bullet. I thought I tripped over the weight bench. My friend, he ended up grabbing my arm, helping me get up. I got up on my feet. I was asking everybody were they okay. And I just felt something drip down my back. I turned around and I just went into shock. I passed out. Jamie: What? B-Fly: I really thought that I tripped over something. I didn't even feel that I had been hit by a bullet. Jamie: They say sometimes you don't know. It hasn't been sent to the brain yet. You said it hit you on your right side of your hip? B-Fly: It hit me on my right side of my hip, almost probably like an inch or two from directly being on my butt cheek. The doctor told me that it was a flesh wound; I had gotten grazed, but she was like, this is crazy. The bullet looked like it just landed in my skin and sat there for five minutes and then fell out. Jamie: Wait a minute, how do they know the bullet sat there for five minutes? B-Fly: No, the doctor said the way that it looks—like when you see it with your own eyes, it looked like the bullet just sat in my skin and fell out. It's like a chunk of my skin is missing. Jamie: Girl, that sounds so painful. B-Fly: And she told me if I didn't move exactly at the perfect timing that I moved, my back would've been blown out. The bullet would've went through my skin and come out the other side. So I'm in shock. This is just crazy to me. I never thought in my right mind that I would have to be going through something like this. I didn't ever think that I would get shot. Jamie: You're not even involved in gangs or anything. B-Fly: No. I do my music, I do hair. Like I tell people, I can't help who I'm related to; that is my family. That's not my persona. That's not what I'm about. People say, "Do you think it was intended for you?" No, I don't think it was intended for me, but I can't say what that person was thinking and what was on that person's mind because, like I said, I've been over there recording for the past three and a half years. I've never experienced anything of this kind. Jamie: Whose house is it? B-Fly: It's my older brother's house. Nobody really lives there but that's where the studio is. When we go to record, it's just like any other studio: People come over, you know? Jamie: You don't think it's any kind of retaliation or anything from before from the funeral that you and [your mom] Lynette went through? B-Fly: You know what? I've never said it, but it's been brought to my attention. My family members have spoken about it like, "Do you think?" I would hate to think that way. Because family is family, and I don't think I would ever take anything that far. I didn't understand why the funeral situation went as far as it did. That was remarkably crazy to me. I couldn't believe how that happened. Jamie: Sherani, what happened? You all went to court; is that over now? B-Fly: To be honest with you, I don't know if it's over. I haven't talked to the lawyer. I don't know if it was settled or if it wasn't settled yet, and we might have to go to another court date. As far as the family, I haven't really been with family since I was, like, 5 years old. So for this funeral, I was excited because I haven't seen my family in years. Jamie: Why hadn't you seen them in years? B-Fly: Because that's my dad's side of the family . I haven't been around that side of the family; I was raised around my mom's side of the family. Jamie: So you were excited about going to the funeral? This was Tracy's sister who passed away with sarcoidosis, right? B-Fly: Right. Lately, she was the only one on that side of the family that actually kept in constant contact with me. Jamie: Shannon? The one who passed? How old was Shannon? B-Fly: I think she was in her late 30s, or I think she might've been 40. Not for sure directly on her age, but she was the one who always kept in constant contact because she was always about family, no matter what they were going through. She just had a big heart. She just loved you. It didn't matter if you were bad to her; in her eyes, she just always loved you. She always tried to keep things together. Jamie: Were you excited about [going to her funeral?] B-Fly: Right. Even though my cousin had passed, I was just excited because I knew I could get to see the rest of my family as a whole. I've seen them on different occasions. But as far as family's supposed to be, like birthday parties, I haven't had any of that with them since I was a kid. And never did I think this situation would erupt like it was about to erupt. Jamie: At the funeral, there were a lot of people there, right? And Jayceon came. B-Fly: It's so crazy to me because they're saying he came unexpectedly. And I'm like, how do you mean a person comes unexpectedly to a funeral when that's your family? You come to a funeral because that's somebody in your family, you know what I mean? It was crazy to me because, in my eyes, I thought the funeral was very beautiful. My brother got up there and spoke. We all got up there and spoke. I wrote a poem. Jamie: You did? B-Fly: Yeah, I wrote a poem for my cousin. He got up there and spoke for at least 15—20 minutes because they were saying we've only got two or three minutes up there to speak and he was like, "Man, ain't nobody going to put a time limit on what I have to say." So he went up there and he spoke really good for at least 15 minutes. It was a side of him I hadn't seen for a long time, and I was happy that he did get up there. So of course I didn't think what was about to occur was about to happen because it was such a beautiful thing going on. Its not the full iNterview but somebody needs to find the Magazine scans, or buy one, I wanna see what she says, thats why Game missed BET awards and That New Orleans Show....
