You might call my criticism biased but whatever, take it for what it's worth. Young J had better multis. His punchlines were more hardhitting and appealed further to the battle aspect, even though Protege had more rhythm and flow andh is verse was less choppy in THAT aspect. Protege blatantly dominated in personals...but overall..

Young J's vere felt more like a battle verse to me. That's just my perspective.

J I know you can go WAY harder than that (pause)..

Young J definitely has the advantage as far as structure is concerned. Much more readable and enjoyable . The inner rhymes and the overall steady, fluent flow you used fit this drop well. The only real criticism is that you don't really take aim at your target.

-Wattup man. Not really familiar with your style, but if this verse was any representation of it, your flow needs to be much more consistent, if you want to be an effective writer. However, you seem to be an excellent battle rapper, as you prove that you can be resourceful with the information available to you. The 'personals' were excellent, and I enjoyed ya punchlines .

Overall -
This battle represents a fundamental debate on how to judge a battle - does emceeing take a complete backseat to personals? I personally don't think so. So although Protege came harder with the personal attacks, his verse wasn't on the same level of J's.
