- I know this guy usually has weirdly stretched lines but you know it's tough times when you not only use one of the most generic "stretched lines" concepts ever, but your lines are also more stretched than your opponent's in this battle.

- actually his "Location" denotes ellipses which might be more accurately described as "dot, dot, dot". A flatline looks like "_______".
- amputation can be a response to leprosy but your set-up really makes little sense, if any. Did you get shot in the arm? I'm just trying to work out what double meaning there is, what wordplay or flip etc?? Probably none again though, right? You may as well have just said, "you're a virus...I'm immune to" & saved yourself space.

- horrible wordplay.
- if you'd used the set-up to...well, set up the punchline...then this could have been better. Even though letter concepts aren't up to much.
- weird. Just weird.
- basic. Conceptually underdeveloped.
- back over C...like, towards Z? Numbers & letters wordplay need to be really creative to be good, or at least be backed by a strong set-up to be tolerable. This lacked. A lot.
- finally! Irrelevant set-up again, but you managed a punch with one more layer than any other so far.
- think that punch might be pretty inaccurate. Confusion never indicates a good line. Although you were right to mock the bars fiasco.
- again straightforward punches like this require some sort of set-up to help them out. You could remove at least 6 of your set-ups & it would make no difference to your verse beyond disrupting the rhyme scheme. Doesn't that seem like a waste?

After reading Mick Hucknall's verse I was sure AIDS would win. And I'm still sure AIDS will vanquish him in real life, but this online battle's a lot closer.

Faggot's best line revolved around him saying that Lotus beat Virus. His best constructed couplet revolved around him saying that swine flu is superior. This combination is problematic in itself. The "forever undefeated" angle has big potential but none of it was realised.

Virus had his MLK line, which was the best line of the battle. His second best was his closer & it was a very similar punch, with less relevancy. A lot of dubious "wordplay" in here. To have such a clown of an opponent, & fail to really hit him cleanly more than once is poor but it's still one more clean hit than was thrown his way.

Virus should win this. But I'm sure there will be a lot of instant messaging & generally an abundance of tears.
