u got it all figured out, u got the cool website.. the .com domain.. u got the album artwork n shit, you got the photoshoots.. you got the funny looking hats only "artistic people" wear, you prolly got your own label and shit with all the paperwork and all that but you forgot one detail: actual good music. seriously, lyrik is gettin better everyday at this shit, he hasnt dropped a wack verse this year yet and is already like 10 songs deep or so... he's grinding, and not giving a fuck about all that other bullshit, while you're doing the opposite at the end of the day lyrik and you are prolly gonna end up in the exact same situation: a wife, some kids and a decent office-job............ aint nobody gonna get signed (and I mean signed to a major deal so dont bring me that "im signed to myself" bullshit).... be realistic.... BUT at the end of the day, lyrik is gonna have 200 dope songs, while your gon have one decent album with 16 tracks lol, cuz u were caught up in making your image look good |
