Before I say anything else, I work with a lot of indies, small time and larger independents, so ill give you REAL feedback, no fuckin around,ill give you the truth.

first off, the format the album it is in to download is poor, not organized, wheres the intro, why does the track list start with track 2, oh the hello skit is track 1, next time put track 1 next to it, so it doesn't start at the bottom of the track list.

Text on the covers are poor and hard to read.

Also for an indie album, why are the songs in 128kbps, are you selling a higher kbps one or something?, 128kbps, especially if you saved it down directly from the DAW is a shocking poor quality on good speakers.

panic room – nice energy to start the song, lyrics nice, flow at the start was sloppy, abit rushed, but it gets on point latter on, second verse is really good. And so is the rest of the song, nice start. 8/10

American Conspiracy – nice beat , really feeling this beat, nice flow to match , lyrics are complex and you pull it off real well, the chorus peaks abit, nothing major, sounds like the pop filter didn't do its job, but the rest of the song is real nice, if you had a proper promo train this would do nicely as the first single. - 9.5/10

Get the Message - I noticed so far, all your songs, have a weird reverb, it sounds ok, but it also eliminates any de essing filter, who ever mastered this should have toned down the reverb, or leave the reverb early in the effects chain. I personally do not like this beat , compared to American conspiracy, this sounds repetitive and abit boring , your flow is decent on this, I dont like the hook , but the 3rd verse is a real stand out, nice job. - 6/10

Goin to Jail – Here we go, production is back from the poor get the message beat, sounds great,melody and drum pattern is great, your flow and lyrics so far on this project are consistent, nice , your lyrics have great meaning aswell,real talk. “ Jail ain't a party “ haha. This song actually tops American conspiracy this song is a 10/10, great stuff.

Rap is Evolvin – Production wise, I like this, again nice message with the lyrics on your selected topic, flow and lyrics again, on point , chorus melody and your vocals on the hook are good. You seem to really slaughter the third verses on your album – 9.6/10

Get the Fuck Back Up – Instrumental sounds ace, great start , vocal volume is near perfect on this, AGAIN, flow and lyrics stand out, second verse is a high light, hook aswell, nothing else to point out, decent track . 9/10

Not Our Fault – wow, nice beat, I really like this beat, great vibe, you flow to the beat well, this track needs serious de essing, sounds unmastered, lyrics on point – 9/10

The Dark Knight – production is simple, yet, it works, strings are very simplistic but the drums catch up , your flow and lyrics sync is probably the best I have heard on hhboard, the consistency is great, using this topic works well , also, I noticed all your hooks, don't use any pro chorus techniques, its all the same from verse to chorus, nothing major but it shows, song is decent – 8/10

Under Attack – haha nice intro, beat is great , yeh I say this everytime, but, lyrics, flow, all great on this. I really like the changes in the beat when the hi hats come in every step, song is abit to long for my likeing, almost 8minutes, but its listenable – 7/10

You Dont Know me - simplistic beat, again, it works , the changes really help it verses on point, and chorus is catchy, flow on second verse is the stand out, really synced with the beat nothing more to say . 8.5/10

What Makes Men Crazy – Feelin this beat , sets the tone, lyrics are real talk, hook came off nice , at first I didnt like it, but it grows on u , all verses are great . - 8.5/10


They Not Ready – Nice up toned beat, verses and hook works, nice job, nothing flawed to point out, overall above average track – 9/10

Are You Listening – damn, crazy beat, your producer has great drum patterns, really gives u freedom to flow and you pull it off, chorus is top stuff, this song is a stand out , especially lyrics wise – 10/10 , great work.

Girl – nice topic , gives range to the album, lyrics on point , flow doesn't slip at all, only slightly in a few areas but its nothing major , the beat is nice to – 8/10

Yall Need Me ft. Marvelous - flow and lyrics are per usual , real stand out , chorus doesnt start great, but it works after the first bars, Marvelous matches your quality, which is a must, nice job, his flow and lyrics do the job, colab is good 8/10


Yep thats my review, I also like the outro, real talk, 90% of rappers talk about the same shit, but anyway.. album was consistant, flow,lyrics,quality, although a lot of the quality is purely down to preference, I didnt like the amount of reverb in some tracks, common rule is reverb is ajusted via the instrumental , so the reverb worked great on some beats, some others it boosted essing which really hurt the master quality, but the vocal volumes were all on point, your producer did a great job, not many albums, especially in the indies where I like over 50% of the beats used from one producer , also using only one producer really takes away any potential instrumental inconsistancys.


In closing.

Pros -
Stand out lyrics
Great Flow on all beats
consistent quality
great instrumental choice
creative cover, house mc thing is nice.

Cons -
Poor organization of online release, seems like no effort was put into compiling it.
Quality flaws, where consistent was a plus, it fell short in some other technical areas, which sounds poor if played loud
Simplistic text used on covers
no extra information on songs ( composer etc )
using 128kbps, where most people wouldent care ( or notice ), on my speaker set up, it sounds poor,compared to if you used a VBR , or 160kbps + , 128kbps causes light artifacts on good speakers along with the lack of de essing, when I turned the volume up it sounded abit nasty.

Overall, nice job, enjoyable, good luck getting this around, defo some great songs on this.

Dammm Viktor this is probably the best, well written, honest, inciteful feed I ever got...Yea Im still tryin to master my mixin but I didnt use Re-verb on any of these tracks...I used Hard Limiting, Dynamic Processing and the FFT Filters which is De-esser and Heavy mastering...maybe the reverb is from my walls in my room...but yo this is what I call real feed dammm...yall other niggas take notes...

oh cool yeah that explains it,why the reverb is sounding like that, your effects chain seems decent to , also keep note, hard limiting is very similar to dynamic processing ( in some cases 100% the same ), if theres to much limiting, small inaudable sounds get boosted to high ( essing for example ), 1 layer of limiting ,boosts light sounds and limits loud sounds, doing it twice will make essing real loud,and normal de essers wont help, im not sure if you use soft limit or hard limit in dynamics processing, but on my speakers, the de essing sounded like it wasent there, which is not a big problem, but when i blasted some of your songs louder, some noise, but yeah, all good.

I used to make reverb effects myself, thats why im real critical on the reverb i heard haha.

wow, what a nice review, great job, tnx for taking time. Well, to be honest you got a point bout the reverb thing, I'm still developing the whole mixin/masterin thing, gotta get lots of equipment tho. I know this ain't a studio album, which would make it a lot better, definetely.

no problem, it can be exactly like a studio album if lyrikcha had 0% reverberation in his room, then created a nice discrete reverb in the DAW hes using.

my home set up has 0% notable reverb, I have materials on the walls to prevent sound bouncing around, $450 rode condenser, also with a range of plug ins, 90% I created myself. These condenser mics are way to sensitive though, thank god for the 10 year warranty.

I like your beats, I used to make beats but lost the desire to do so , so I stuck to audio enginnering, working at a few local studios, I also noticed constructive, negative feedback is much more benefitical than just saying " nice song "

you never EVER use hard limiting for mixing....your quality would prolly be much better without it.......
i honestly wouldn't use FFT on de-essing........if you gonna use filters......you def should start using that salvador setting for parametric EQ.......it works wonders...and compression should ALWAYS be done first since it's one of the biggest keys in hip hop........and as for reverb...you don't really need to use reverb...but if you ain't...you should use a light echo to give it a nice crisp sound to it....but with reverb or echo your going to have to find out how to de-ess and shit...............

at first i was hesitant about downloading this cd, due to one, i have never downloaded a cd from a rapper i seen on a message board and two, your tracklist is long as fuck

but after reading that guys review, which was really good, i am officially downloading it.

theres rubber like materials, that come out in different shapes, sort of like the back of an egg carton, it obsorbs sound so when you record theres no reverberation, some people say you need to do the entire room, but not all the time, also you 100% need to record in a carpeted room

salvador parametric EQ is good for cheap mics , hard limiting is compression, every compressor is a limiter , and reverb, you need it if you record in a studio with 100% flat sound, or else it will sound to dry , natrual reverb with 20% perception is great.

i record in a bedroom which gives off 0% reverberation, when I dont add some sort of software reverb, it sounds very dry , also I used salvador settings when I was using a shure dynamic mic, their great but when I moved to condensers, my own settings proved a step up.

yeah I did a digital music program which got me a job as an audio enginner , the program also got me experience in industry know how, deeper understanding in audio mastering,song writing etc etc, was pretty good, was worth the money.

Also doing these courses showed me how overrated pro tools is.
