I use the Rode NT2A at home. I don't have a proper recording program at home at the moment, so I'm stuck with Audacity until I can get a good crack for one.

at the Studio, I use the legendary Neumann U87 Condenser. It is the same mic Pac used

^3G's actually ain't that hard to get if you got a good paying full 9-5.........plus any overtime is usually time and a half............you could prolly make 3k in a month or two......

lets say u make 1500 a month....... it sounds reasonable.. if you're able to save 300 of that 1500 every month, I'd say you're doing aight. so thats TEN, not three, months of saving for a fucking microphone.. while u culd easely get good quality too with a mic of like 300$ .. just look at spoken for example

well i'm speaking on my behalf...cuz i still live @ home....but even i'd be paying rent if i had a full time job and didn't go to skool....

BUT

most people don't usually buy a mic in 2 months anyways........and when they do get some money saved up....they usually look on ebay first.....
