02/02/08 - Blind Ambitionz Diss [Shots at SPOKEN WORD too]

so i called out spoken word a while ago on this other forum, just for a friendly battle u know. He didn't think it was "worth his time". So one of his homies stepped up for him .....

This is my track for the battle, which is due feb 3rd, aint really beef as such with spokes, but he can take it as he wants. Maybe he'll decide to accept my original callout

if your wonderin who's talkin at the beginning & the end, thats the dude im dissin in the track, mixed one of his phone calls in as an intro/outro

^some of us don't have the time to put the usual 100% into a worthless battle verse (which for me includes actually over thinking lines and spitting the verse about 7-15 times to see how i want it to come out)...then take time and record it proper....then take days upon days upon days to edit and master it.....................

unless i'm getting cash for a battle.....i ain't spending more then 2 hours on it......

and at the dude talkin about me worshippin spoken? lmfao, i was talkin to my homie karizmatik.. he recommended the rode mics.. so i went out and bought myself one, spoken doesnt even own a dope mic, he records at nawlage's

but its whatever, as i said, a quick battle track which either way still murked the guy i was gettin at..

so this rode mic is THAT good? I downloaded the song so I culd check the quality.. and to be honest, I like Kid J's quality more.. he sounds way clearer... hm I dunno, not that it sounds bad but its not like its studio quality

they arn't nothing special, they are dope mics yea, but nothing like WOW fantastic, listen to most of nawlage's tracks... same quality

its not always about the mics anyway, its more how u mix it, kid j has way to much reverb on his shit, its clear, but sounds wack imo...

these rode mics have more bass and clarity in them ... ofcourse, it wont sound like studio quality... but dope enough for home recording

^^tell me more, I'm interested.. this "reverb" you talk about? exactly what is it? is it like an echo? or does it brings out the high tones in your voice? cuz ertime I hear kid j's songs I notice how CRYSTALCLEAR his vocals sound, like they're really on the forefront ya know....

and can I do all this with cool edit pro?
