If a rapper can't afford a cheap lease which gives him rights to a song, and has to steal music, It's not a serious MC anyways. Because a serious MC knows that hes going to make a good track, and he needs to make sure he has rights to the song. If your not worried about making sure you get rights, chances are it's an internet MC making lousy mixtapes that make no money neways. Why do you think alot of people offer free downloads? To move up in the charts, cause all these internet MC's look for are free beats. You use the lousy kids looking for free beats to move up in the charts to make it easier for the serious MC's to spot ya name :-)

Now Stixx, I know your just informing these lousy internet MC's that theres a way to do it, I would think your serious enough about music that you know you need rights to a track? right? :-)

im not that serious about rap...i only rap cuz im nice, its a hobby but my new shit is fuckin amazing so i might take is serious...but aye, why buy a beat when i can just download that shit??? and yall get at me in a pm if you wanna know

I understand that dudes cant afford beats, but you aint that broke to buy a 20 pound lease (or 20 dollar)

Go and download FL Studio and learn how to make beats

hence the reason you start out in cyphers/battles........you get your name around....then you start selling tapes.....then when your hype in your city reaches it's heights...you finish the album(with exclusives) and you sell that for actual album prices....but most MC's have friends who sell them beats for cheap....

yeah of coarse, I got my handful of MC's I work with that I'll always hook em up with whatever. Thats what you need as a producer, just build relationships with ya artists cause if anyone you know gets a shot, your comin with em.
